RE: Health and wellness project opportunity for current vendors
Far Northern Regional Center (FNRC) is a private nonprofit organization under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS). FNRC is part of a statewide network of 21 Regional Centers responsible for the coordination and development of services to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities in Shasta, Butte, Tehama, Siskiyou, Modoc, Trinity, Glenn, Lassen and Plumas Counties.
Far Northern Regional Center (FNRC) is seeking a current vendor to develop a series of weekly menu planners that will include 7 days of breakfast, lunch, and dinners; recipes; and shopping lists. Menu planners should focus on nutritional value and budget friendly menus. The vendor shall offer employment opportunities for clients to conduct recipe/menu research, menu planner design, assembling, and marketing of the completed product. It would be expected the awarded vendor would complete a minimum of 8 weekly menu planners.
This project is only for current FNRC vendors. All interested vendors are required to submit a proposal to FNRC. The proposal must include the program description, client roles in the development of the program and what supports the program will provide clients, how clients will be paid, how the product will be marketed to FNRC vendors and the community, and anticipated timelines for the development and completion of this project. The proposal may also include a sample product.
Please submit the proposal to Far Northern Regional Center. Applicants who meet the proposal criteria may be invited to participate in an interview process.
